Danny was my cousin and I loved him dearly. He had an irresistible spirit that won over even the most guarded person. Unlike the majority of people today Danny was an authentic person, a breathe of fresh air. This was evident in his eyes that radiated sincerity and kindness. It takes courage to be authentic and Danny was never afraid of anything. They say only the good die young and Danny´s passing is proof positive of it. I love you and I miss you Danny, thank you for being in our lives.

I first met Danny when he had four years and lived in Wharton. My close friend, Linda, was a neighbor, so I was often at the house, particularly to look at Daniel’s extensive vegetable garden in the back yard. Danny would often be there, running playfully through the rows as four year olds would. He was lively and cheery and not shy with me, maybe because our contact was in the surround of his familiar and natural world. As well as his beauty in spirit, he was beautifully featured. Had we passed each other on Main Street his appearance would surely have caught my eye. I am sorry to learn of his long suffering. As the family spoke of death bringing him into the universal light, there is great solace in that perspective. May I add that he can again ‘be’ as he was at four, free as the birds of the air.

Mi madre me dice que desde bien pequeño eras muy simpático y sociable, siempre rodeado de amigos haciendo travesuras y es verdad que así te recuerdo yo desde que tengo uso de razón, siempre alegre y con una sonrisa en la boca. Te encantaba veranear en la Cantolla y pasar tiempo allí con tus amigos. Todos los que hemos tenido la suerte de compartir tiempo contigo sabemos la gran persona que eras, tenías un corazón tan grande que no te entraba en el pecho. Nunca jamás olvidaré tu alegria y tus ganas de vivir. Dejas un vacío enorme en todas las personas que te queríamos. Nunca te vamos a olvidar Danny ❤️
