Dear Gloria, It was my pleasure and honor to meet you and reconnect with Jose in Ann Arbor. And I’m so grateful to have been able to correspond with my college friend over these past years. Jose was one of the best friends anyone could have and II still remember meeting him for the first time, it was 1980. I remember like it was yesterday. His big smile, ready humor and effortless kindness were ever present. I will always treasure the gift of his friendship and send my deepest sympathy to you and Bryan. More than anything it is good to know how happy he was in his life with you. Rest in peace my friend.

Mr. Jose, You are one of a kind. I will never forget our sports talks. Being an avid fan of the Mets and Jets with you was some great conversations. Hopefully they will be on top ....one day. Also having an occasional beer with your Chancellor family. Great times. You will be sorely missed. Rest in Peace my friend.
