Janet loved every season in Green Pond. We have so many pictures from winter (remembering the Holly Jolly) spring, summer, and fall. She and I would take the boat and peacefully float the lake. This picture is just one I love so much. She is the sunshine of my life.
Love you so much, Bob

Janet will forever be in my memories. Although we were not close; I feel just knowing Janet made me a better person.
She had a good run; I know her life with Bob was amazing.
To have found true love is a gift from God.
God bless Bob and all the children in the house.
My deepest sympathy goes out to you all!

Bob, family and friends, although I am in disbelief waiting for her next text or call.... When you look up these words in the dictionary or should I say "Google" them; 110% class, devoted, family, friend and absolutely beautiful you see Janet. I was blessed with 50 years of friendship. I know many of you can associate with this type of friendship when you start with seeing each other weekly, monthly, bimonthly and then finally yearly and our conversations start right up where you left off from the last one never skipping a beat. Although I am struggling with grief Janet would grab me with a hug and say stop it. Remember all those memories we shared. So if you ever see me for a visit or ever stop in Texas plan on spending some major quality time because that is what I would do. I am truly blessed not only to have known her but have that special friendship. I will end this like I always ended our conversations or just on greeting cards.. Love and Miss you Jan XXXOOO Laur

Dear Janet, Charlie and I were happy to see you whenever an event was planned. You'd smile, hug us, and graciously ask about our lives and kids. You've shown respect to your hosts by being on time and bringing the perfect dish or gift. (The gift in hand was always festively wrapped. And if you brought food, it was delicious and generously proportioned.) Now, Janet, I know you know this; it was slightly annoying to some of us how your hair was always perfect! Your positive energy drew us in as you laughed, joked, and celebrated just being together. You were a courteous friend. Time moved swiftly during the vacations we took together. As time passed (and major plagues hit), your family grew in size, and the love in your heart soared with joy and pride. You cherished your family life by the beautiful lake that was your home. What a legacy to leave your children's children; you truly 'bloomed where you were planted.' As for Bob, I've never seen him without a big smile and a plan for the next hour, week, month, and coming holiday! You are his muse, his inspiration. And Bob is blessed to be surrounded by many, young and old, who will rally to love and protect him from unending grief in your absence. You've shown him and us what it means to live. You set a fine example of how to keep family and friends close. Be well, Janet. We know you couldn't fathom leaving this wonderful existence you helped to create. However, we believe you are currently assessing your surroundings and making a list of what needs to be done to welcome us all when we see you again. Thanks for the love you shared with us. Charlie and Dianne

The news of Janet‘s passing has left me numb. Remembering many years ago as single moms raising our children in Green Pond. Janet was so wonderful to keep all the children’s hair cut and always helped with many children events. My boys enjoyed being with her boys and we often kept an eye on each others.
Green Pond will miss you greatly Janet as you have left us far too early.
My love and prayers to Mark and David and the entire Hatke family as you mourn the loss of a wonderful wife, Mother, Grandmother. Dulce Doss

I was a classmate of Janet's, but my more recent memories were from Annselaine's, where we talked about reunions and classmates. I will miss her beautiful smiling face at the salon. My Condolences to her family and coworkers. RIP, Janet.

who we are:
Tuttle Funeral home was designed as a funeral home by funeral home architects and designers. Unllike many funeral homes that were originally old homes and then were converted into funeral homes.
Though it was designed as a funeral home, it still provides the warm comforting feeling of a home, but with more space and an open feeling.
