My brother, my friend. There were only 18 short months between us and a lifetime of happy moments and memories that we share.
It is so very difficult to imagine getting through the rest of my years without you here. We were close and even miles couldn't separate our bond.
Sometimes we argued, sometimes we got mad at one another - especially as kids. We are no different from any other family, but we were encouraged not to stay mad at one another and usually after prayer and reflection, one of us came around.
We stopped arguing as adults - recognizing and appreciating how short life really is and we decided to enjoy life to the fullest and laugh more. You, Jack, had that ability to add laughter and happiness to every occasion.
You were a hit at every event whether you knew everyone in the crowd or were in a new place with new faces for the first time. At Brian & Danielle's wedding, you made a point of introducing yourself and spoke to everyone. Your "speech" at the church was engaging and enlightening. You perfected it to a tee.
I can only continue to honor you and your good name in all my words and actions moving forward. A part of me is already with you. Until we meet again...
Your loving sister

As the saying goes "Parents are not supposed to bury their children." That sad thing fell on me on May 14th 2023 when I received a call from my other son, Tom, that his brother, Jack, had passed very suddenly. I was in a state of shock and am still in that shock. My wife Marie, and I made the sad trip from Florida to New Jersey. He leaves behind not only me and 3 siblings but Son, John M Joyce Jr. and a new Grandson Charles (Charlie). He served 4 years in the Marine Corps attaining the rank of Sergeant, he was very proud to have served. He had the ability to make people laugh, he could remember dates going back many years. Hopefully he has been reunited with his Mother, Rose, who he fondly nicknamed "Rose Bud." I know he is up there making all laugh including our Higher Power (GOD) RIP son you will be missed by all who came in contact with you. DAD

I’ll miss you Jack. You were a good friend. I stuck by you and you stuck by me. I’m glad we were able to room together at one point. Turned out to be for three years. That was the start of a good friendship. You are a special fellow. You were very loyal to your friends. In general you valued other people as well. And you held a special place in your heart for Yeshua Hamashiach. I can’t count the times you made reference to him. Acknowledging that ultimately your trust was in him. My thoughts and prayers are for you Jack’s immediate family who are so sorely missing him. Especially you John and your wife. Godspeed Jack.

So sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. We go back from Hamilton Jr High he was a cute, funny guy. I’m glad I had gotten the privilege to get to speak to him through a mutual friend last year as we reminisced . May you R.I.P. Jackie Joyce.

Thank you for being such a strong and supportive presence throughout my life; thank you for your unshakable faith in God and your unending belief in the power of prayer; thank you for teaching me how to read a horse racing form, (and thank you for placing that bet for me when I was just 17….) Thank you for never forgetting my birthday- not just because you remember ALL OF THE DATES to everything, but because I know how special I was to you. Thank you for taking that cross country trip to meet me when I was born. Thank you for side-splitting laughter and stories that I will tell people for years, no matter how many times I have told them. Thank you for my cousin John, who I love like a brother, and for Charlie who I promise to always be present for- the way you were for me. Thank you for always having my back and being whole heartedly honest with me always. Thank you for trusting me to drive your shiny Cadillac in the snow on Christmas Eve. Thank you for joy and wisdom and laughter and lessons. But most importantly, thank you for loving me “dearly,” uncle Jack. No one loved like you did. Please give Nana Bud a kiss on the cheek for me, and I promise to light a candle every so often in your memory. I love you forever ❤️

My memories of Jack are as a child and again just recently he called me to tell me that he had a photo from my wedding. He wanted to send it to me, which he did. We talked for some time, it was such a pleasure.
To the family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers . . .

Jack was a generous man, wether you needed a place to stay, a financial helping hand, for those who don’t know I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung and bone cancer as soon as I shared my diagnosis with him the first thing he asked Tom if you need a bone marrow I am there, or if you need a lung transplant I am there. This was the type of person Jack was and in my heart still is,
Jack would call and just ask “Tom how are you doing today?, let’s get together on Monday and have lunch, he wanted to spend as much time as he could, and he would have done the same for anyone in our family, and his friends.
Jack as you all knew had the sense of humor that could make anyone laugh, you could be having the worse day and just talk to Jack he would make you forget what you were upset about and have your sides hurting from laughing so hard
Jack enjoyed the Marx Brother movies his favorite being “Duck soup” which he could remember every snide remark Groucho would say.
Jack I miss you every day and hope you are enjoying reuniting with mom, Aunt Loretta, and all our other loved ones that has passed, keep the humor until we we meet again I Love You

who we are:
Tuttle Funeral home was designed as a funeral home by funeral home architects and designers. Unllike many funeral homes that were originally old homes and then were converted into funeral homes.
Though it was designed as a funeral home, it still provides the warm comforting feeling of a home, but with more space and an open feeling.
