Obituary of Neil Notaroberto
Aniello Notaroberto, age 85, of Stanhope, NJ passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 17, 2022. Born in Futani , Italy, to the late Florigi and Clementina Notaroberto, he came to the United States and lived in Netcong before moving to Stanhope.
He was a barber for over 50 years in Dover, NJ. He volunteered for the Netcong EMS/Paramedic Unit and Hackettstown Rescue Squad. He was also a member of the Dover Historical Society, a Member of the Sons of Italy as well as the National Barbers Association.
Aniello was a devoted, caring, compassionate, loving husband, father and grandfather. He exemplified great faith with his dedication towards church, his community and to his fellow man.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends and will forever be in their hearts.
Survivors include his wife, Vittoria Notaroberto, his children Neil and Anita Notaroberto, his grandchildren, Vittoria, Luciana, Gianna, many nieces, nephews, and his sister Marie Meurer.
He is predeceased by his sister Anna Ruocco, and brothers Emilio and Antonio Notaroberto.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 22, at 10am at St. Mary’s Church, Wharton, NJ.
