I just found out you passed, Uncle Huffy. You were one of the funniest of my uncles, and I loved visiting you, Aunt Janey, and my cousins. I know you're hanging out with Kris, and probably spending time with my mom and dad (Jim & Glenys). My love to the family

Walt, or "June" as I knew him, was one of the sweetest beings ever. He always greeted me with a big smile and an "I love you, dear". He will be greatly missed by all of us.

We were so sorry to hear of Walt’s passing. Although he’s busy greeting those who have preceded him into eternal life with Jesus, those who are still here have new holes in their hearts, yours in particular. We are thinking of and praying for you and the family as you grieve.
Dave has a vague recollection of meeting the Hoffmans when he was growing up, but we really came to know Walt almost 50 years ago. First through Mt. Fern, and then as we all were involved in Tres Dias, share group, and of course Hope Church. We remember Walt’s sense of humor, deep Christian faith, inevitable optimism, resilience in difficulties, and humble acceptance of what God sent him coupled with faith in God’s plans for him.
We can’t remember Walt ever saying anything really negative about anyone, although he certainly was able to poke fun at people. Walt was without question one of, if not the, most decent men we have ever known.

I have known Walt since high School. He is one of my favorite people in the world. He had such a great sense of humor and always a big hug and kiss. He will be sorely missed by me and all that knew him.

Walt could always make me laugh. He could always make anyone laugh. His laugh was contagious. We would laugh until we cried. He was so funny, he would tease but never with an ounce of cruelty. Walt's heart was so big and beautiful; he wore it on his sleeve. Tears came easily to Walt later in life because he cared so deeply about others. He adored his family. Mostly he loved his Lord and lived accordingly. So grateful that he's joined the communion of saints, who continue the work of the Lord, of love, joy, peace, prayer and encouragement from our home in heaven. Well done, good and faithful servant.

Though it was designed as a funeral home, it still provides the warm comforting feeling of a home, but with more space and an open feeling.
