Wow, it's so sad and so weird that a whole part of his family was left out of the obituary. So sad and so weird there is no mention of his other son who literally shares a name, and his other grandchildren. Weird...not a single photo and not even a call letting us know he died. Sad...years worth of memories, swept under the rug. Surely an honest mistake. My condolences are for your loss Robert F Fahy Jr., your loss of never being able to experience the pride for our accomplishments in life. Thank you grammy and papa for teaching me that family is who you make it.

Condolences Rusty & family. Could be a genetic thing— I know certain relatives, one whom is pictured with him, prefer to exclude family from meaningful events so their narrative can proceed unchallenged, even if skewed. Strange. Hoped to see him again. I, like him, valued our time together. No mention of his sisters either. None of them were ever ones to miss a detail, so, I bet that gene wasn’t inherited by whom wrote the obituary. Simple mistake.

I met Bob at the Morris County Ostomy Association. Hr replaced me as Presidnet and we ahve known each other ever since. I remmerber our great chats abount "anything" and realized how smart Bob was. He contirbuted to the group and was instrumental in the rehabilitation of many individals who had ostomy surgery. May he rest in peace with all those gone before us. George F. Salamy
