Obituary of Thomas Schneyer

Thomas Schneyer, 65, of Dover, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Morristown Medical Center. He was born in Jamacia, NY.

Tom worked in IT for Pershing, Morristown where he retired at age 57. Tom was an avid sports fan especially the NY Yankees. He has been a bowler since high school and will be remembered for bowling a near perfect game several times. Tom was known for his daily walks through town. He was a great father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and great uncle.

He is survived by his two daughters Kristin and her husband Daniel Young and Erin and her husband Michael Monteleone; grandchildren Christian Candanedo, Skylynn Young, Teagan Young, Mason Young, Michael Esposito, IV, Anthony Esposito, Landyn Stewart and Preston Monteleone. He is also survived by his siblings Mary and her husband Cliff Moore, John Schneyer, Theresa and her husband Jeff Harper, Patty and her husband Jerry Cotter and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grand nephews. He was predeceased by his parents John and Margaret.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, 10:00-11:30AM with a eulogy service beginning at 11:30AM. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Morristown Medical Center, Palliative Care Unit, 100 Madison Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960 or Atlantic Health System's pet therapy program, Soothing Paws, at Morristown Medical Center.
