Richard Ernest Lovenberg
Richard was born in Morristown, lived in Mine Hill for the majority of his life where he was an alumnus at Dover High School. Most recently residing in Pennsylvania with his daughter. He started off working at a local ice cream shop as a teen to having a career as a computer specialist working on large computer systems around the world. Richard was an extremely intelligent man; he was a library of facts always knew something about any subject that would come up in conversation. Richard was a very obscure individual that had many interests in life that included photography, riding Leroy (his motorcycle), trinket collecting, talking about his experiences in life and about his family history. He also loved spending time with animals (especially Scooter), through his life he cared for goats (Milton and Jenny), chickens, cows and horses. Richie was a jokester, he always wanted to make others smile. He also had a huge heart, but he loved in away that some couldn't appreciate.
Rich will be deeply missed by his daughter Theresa Dagon and fiancée Zachary, his daughter Kimberly Lovenberg, his grandchildren Katrina Murphy and Gabriel Rocha, his siblings Theodore Lovenberg and wife Janette, Tammy Lobiondo and husband David, William Lovenberg and wife Elizabeth, amongst many nieces and nephews.
Rich will be going to be with his predeceased loved ones his mother Ann L. Fitzpatrick, father Theodore H. Lovenberg, and his nephew David M. Lovenberg.
Visitation 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM on Friday, April 15, 2022 with a Funeral Service to follow at 5:30PM at Tuttle Funeral Home 272 Route 10, Randolph, NJ (www.tuttlefh.com).
