Rich and I were friends growing up in Mine Hill. What a good friend you were.We went our separate ways in High School and I was fortunate to meet up with him a few years later at the local tavern. Kept in touch for awhile then like most things life moves us along. It was so good seeing him. I am truly sorry for your family's loss. Rest in peace my friend.

Richard, Our first meeting was when you called me in the middle of the night and I have no idea who you were. You were in Sweden for a job and you want to go to the Iceland Gotland for to visit me and my family. We were releted, cousins. It is 35 years ago. Since than we have kept in touch.
I wish I could have been with you today, but the distance is too far.
Rest in Peace beloved cousin Richard.
YES, OF COURSE IT HURTS
Yes, of course it hurts when buds are breaking.
Why else would the springtime falter?
Why would all our ardent longing
bind itself in frozen, bitter pallor?
After all, the bud was covered all the winter.
What new thing is it that bursts and wears?
Yes, of course it hurts when buds are breaking,
hurts for that which grows
and that which bars. / Karin Boye
My deepest condolenses to all family Lovenberg

Rich was one in a million. I worked with him, traveled with him and welcomed him at my home. He would always tell folks he was coming to his Texas family. Unique would best describe him. When he would come in to town he would stop and get ice cream for my dogs. Amazing. He will be missed by my family and I. To his family our condolences. Rest well my friend, well done. The Texas Cowboy as you would say.

Richard was a remarkable human being. I have known him since he was 15 years old, and he was one of a kind. Rich opened his heart and his wallet to everyone he came in contact with. He wanted for very little... just happiness in everyone he met. His career took him from working for me as a teenager to a professional computer expert that traveled the world fixing computers for not only major companies, but for dignitaries and countries. He was not only an expert in his field he was a troubleshooter... when nobody else could fix it, they flew in Rich Lovenberg. I can remember Rich and his three wives... his two daughters... and unfortunately the love of his life, Scooter his dog. We have shared laughs together, tears together, and tons of stories. May Rich rest in eternal peace.

who we are:
Tuttle Funeral home was designed as a funeral home by funeral home architects and designers. Unllike many funeral homes that were originally old homes and then were converted into funeral homes.
Though it was designed as a funeral home, it still provides the warm comforting feeling of a home, but with more space and an open feeling.
