Obituary of Vincent Joseph Nuzzi, Jr.
Vincent Joseph Nuzzi, 73, of Randolph, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2022. Vincent was born in Jersey City, NJ and grew up in West New York, NJ. He attended Memorial High School and graduated Rutgers University. He then went on to earn his law degree at New York Law School. During college he was a member of the ROTC and later served as a member of the US Army Quartermaster Corp.
Vincent started his career as a public defender in Essex County. He later went on to become the First Assistant Prosecutor of Essex County. Throughout the years he worked as a Criminal Defense attorney and had presently been working for Mandelbaum Barrett PC, Roseland.
Vincent was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed cheering for his NY Giants and Yankees. He was also a passionate Rutgers fan. In his free time, he enjoyed reading, fishing, spending time with family and staying in touch with his good friends.
He is survived by his wife Madelyn of 48 years; two children Vanessa and her husband David Cerchio of Mendham and Matthew and his girlfriend Kathleen Nguyen of Morristown; three grandchildren Dominick, Chase, and Catherine; and his father Vincent Sr. He is predeceased by his mother Silvia and brother Gerard.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 11:30AM-1:30PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph. Funeral Mass to follow at 2:00PM at Resurrection Parish, Randolph. Interment is private.
