Obituary of Christopher John LaPietra

Christopher John LaPietra 54 of Randolph, New Jersey passed away on June 14, 2021.  He was born in Teaneck, New Jersey.  He graduated from Moorestown High School.  He graduated from Lafayette College with a Bachelor’s degree and earned an MBA from Lehigh University.  Chris was the Vice President and General Manager for Honeywell Stationary Refrigerants.  He was previously employed at Air Products and Versa Products Company.

Chris was a beloved husband to Elisa (Ingis) and devoted father to Nicholas and Maria, the lights of his life.  Chris is also survived by his parents Joseph and Mary of Moorestown, NJ, brother Joseph of Potomac, MD, and sister Annemarie Simeone (Matt) also of Moorestown.

Chris played Division I football at Lafayette College and was a Captain his senior year.  He was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity.  He was an avid fan of Formula I racing, the Giants, and the Yankees. He spent many hours supporting his son Nicholas at baseball and Maria at lacrosse.  His family, friends, and home were of greatest importance to him.

Chris leaves behind countless family and friends, all of who were blessed to know his decency, loyalty, good humor, and friendship.  He will be missed more than words could ever express and was loved by all.

The family will receive family and friends, on Friday June 18th from 3-5pm and 6-8pm at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 NJ-10, Randolph, NJ 07869 (www.tuttlefh.com).

Mass will be held on Saturday June 19^th at 10am at Resurrection Parish, 651 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, NJ  07869 followed by a burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 85 Pleasant Hill Road, Chester NJ 07930.

A luncheon and repass will follow at 12:30pm at Embassy Suites, 250 Connell Drive, Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922.
