Obituary of James Raymond Kupfer

James "Jim" Kupfer, age 64, of Montague, NJ passed away on May 26, 2021 after a long illness. 

Jim was born in Brooklyn, NY and graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. After college, Jim moved with his family to Lake Hopatcong, NJ, and proudly served as a police officer for the Jefferson Township Police Department for 24 years before retiring in 2009. Jim loved traveling to St Petersburg, Florida, to his second home and loved his dogs, Bailey, Candy, and Emmy.

Jim was predeceased by his mother, Carmella "Millie" Mancini and his father, Allen Kupfer.

Jim is survived by his son Ryan Kupfer and his wife Rhawnie; his daughter Kristi Kupfer, her partner Alex, and their son James; his sister, Karen Giordano and her husband Ralph; his brother Allen Kupfer; his niece and nephew Annie and Michael; and his ex-wife and friend Sheryl Swayze and her significant other, Steve Birchwale.
