I am so sorry to hear of this news. Jim was a great guy and I am glad that I was able to get him into spinning at the YMCA. I am so thankful that he introduced me to Monica and our time up in PA will be cherished.
Praying for comfort during this time.

One of my favorite memories of Jim, during our time at Kemper Insurance, was on the occasion of the retirement dinner of Bob Gleason, the Division President. Jim, somewhat famous for his large appetite, had astutely noticed that a vacant place setting next to his could be converted to that of a (non-existent) colleague . “He’s in the bathroom, but he wants the chicken” he replied, when our server inquired about the absent party, and his or her meal choice. When the two entrees arrived, Jim contentedly dispose of both. Of course, when the dessert offering came around later, Jim enthusiastically was only too happy to repeat the exercise, again miraculously without question from the server. Jim’s beam of contentment was great to behold.
I would subsequently bump into Jim on numerous occasions after both of our “K-times” had expired and moved on to greener pastures, and always enjoyed his genial and generous remembering of our time in those trenches, which he helped make more bearable for many of us.
R.I.P., mon ami.

Jim, I'll never forget the first day I met you 20 years ago... You were my new marketing rep, you walked into my office, shook my hand and asked "Do you know anything about sump pumps?" I'm going to miss your stories about shad fishing, gun collecting & your man weekend in the Poconos. Also, I never thanked you for taking my call on Thanksgiving Day to walk me through deep frying a turkey.
You had an incredible ability to create a personal connection with everyone you met.
I will miss you Jim.

Tuttle Funeral home was designed as a funeral home by funeral home architects and designers. Unllike many funeral homes that were originally old homes and then were converted into funeral homes.
Though it was designed as a funeral home, it still provides the warm comforting feeling of a home, but with more space and an open feeling.
