Obituary of Ralph F. Campoli
Ralph F. Campoli, 95, of Mine Hill, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover. Ralph was born in Dover and has been a resident of Mine Hill for 60 years. He served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corp. Ralph was a Design Engineer for Picatinny Arsenal, Rockaway Twp. for 39 years and then worked at General Dynamics for 30 years. His colleagues referred to him as the Godfather of the Kinetic Energy Round.
Mr. Campoli is survived by his son Ralph, Jr and his wife Nancy of Newton, his daughter Karen Gaynor and her husband Michael of Independence, and his daughter Janice Wedwick and her husband Jim of Independence, MO. He is also survived by four grandchildren- Michael, Tara, Kellie, Carly; four great grandchildren- Scarlett, Nico, Enzo, Isla; his brother Lorenzo; and many nieces and nephews. Ralph was predeceased by his wife Marguerite in 2015.
Visitation at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (tuttlefh.com) Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 3:00PM – 7:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Wharton on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 10:30AM. Entombment at Locust Hill Mausoleum, Dover.
