I met Ralph Sr shortly after I began my career at General Defense back in 1983. I learned very quickly that Ralph Sr was like EF Hutton, when he spoke everybody listened! I learned so much from Ralph Sr and Ed Steiner over my thirty years in the ammo business. No one commanded more respect in our industry than Ralph and Ed! Much of the success my Strategic Business Unit enjoyed was due directly to Ralph and Ed's collaboration in designing state of the art ammunition products. Ralph Sr treated me like a son! I always looked up to him! He was truly one of a kind! I miss him terribly! I can't wait to see him in heaven! Eternity will be a hoot listening to all the stories Ralph Sr has from a long life well lived! God Bless!

Ralph and dad's relationship began through their work in developing munitions in the early 1950's and soon evolved into a close friendship based on respect and admiration for one another. In some ways they were quite different while in other ways very much the same, ie. honesty, loyalty, integrity, and their love and devotion to family. I got to know "RC" as he was known, mostly through spending time together during hunting season each November. Ralph always expressed interest in how I was doing, how is the wife, Marsha?, and eventually as my sons Adam and Eric were growing up RC wanted to know how they doing.
Ralph was always ready to give you advice weather you asked for it or not, but it was always the best advice and you always remembered it. When my dad passed 18 yrs. ago and my emotions were still quite raw I saw Ralph as a second father and looked forward to our talks each November during hunting season and at his birthday party's at his sons house. Ralph's legacy, the person he was is passed along to all those who's lives he touched. I'm proud and very lucky to have been one of them.

Uncle Ralph was always someone you could look up to with advice and guidance. He used to organize family picnics at Hedden Park where I could bring my family and have a fun filled afternoon. It was like a mini family reunion. He will be missed.
May God take care of you.
Love,
Jim and Diane Arico

who we are:
Tuttle Funeral home was designed as a funeral home by funeral home architects and designers. Unllike many funeral homes that were originally old homes and then were converted into funeral homes.
Though it was designed as a funeral home, it still provides the warm comforting feeling of a home, but with more space and an open feeling.
