Glenn D. Van Kouteren, age 44 of Budd Lake passed away unexpectedly on June 19, 2017. Glenn was born on February 7, 1973, son of the late Andrew and Helen (Beckert) Van Kouteren.

Glenn was mentored in automotive at a young age by his neighbor, Jim Ruane, and worked as a mechanic after high school, most notably Ledgewood Automotive. He started his own detailing business by age 18, Koot’s Detailing. Glenn had a passion for working on cars his entire life. He also enjoyed racing cars, especially in Englishtown.

We have been blessed with the presence of Glenn in our lives. He will be deeply missed by his brother, Mark and his wife, Tara, and their son, Duncan, of St. Augustine, FL; brother, Scott and his fiancé, Kathy, of Swiftwater, PA.

Glenn loved animals and people, and always put everyone’s needs ahead of his own. His huge heart, kindness, and generosity will be missed by everyone who knew him. Glenn’s bonds with others were priceless; his heart and memory will live on through the people whose lives he touched.

A memorial service will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph, NJ from 2-4 PM on Sunday, July 16th.
