Mr. Leo F. "Red" Mills, 83, of Randolph passed away Saturday, February 13th, 2010 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, following a short illness. Resident of Morris County his whole life. Mr. Mills was born in Morristown. He was a Parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, Dover. He served in the U.S. Navy - the Sea Bees in WW II. He worked as a Quality Control Specialist at Picatinny Arsenal, Rockaway Township, and retired in 1993 after more than forty years. Graduated from Morristown High School in 1947 and attended Stevens Institute of Technology. After his retirement from Picatinny Arsenal, he enjoyed travelling to many countries including Israel, China, Ireland, Iceland, England, Turkey and Greece. Survived by Joan, his wife of forty-seven years; his brother David Mills of Atlanta, GA and several nieces and nephews. Visitation, Thursday, February 18th, 2010, 3-5 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Dover, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 19th, 2010. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to: Sacred Heart Church, 4 Richards Avenue, Dover, NJ 07801.
