Mr. Edward A. Padewski Jr., 67, of Randolph passed away Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 at home, following a long illness. Resident of Randolph since 1967, moved here from Orange.
Mr. Padewski was born in Newark.
He was a Parishioner of Resurrection Parish, Randolph.
He served in the Army National Guard during Peacetime.
He was the Owner of the Union Hill Exxon Service Center in Denville and retired in 2000 after thirty-six years.
Member of the Moose Lodge #541 of Dover. He was an avid salt water fisherman and boated in Point Pleasant aboard his boat "Second Mate". He spent his last years fishing in Islamorada, Florida. He also enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting and snowmobiling.
Survived by Diane, his wife of forty-four years; his two sons Edward A. III and his wife Kate of Long Valley, Glenn E. and his wife Lisa of Randolph, his daughter Michelle D. Harth and her husband Timothy of Randolph; four grandchildren Jonathan, Nicholas, Alexander, and Kristina; his mother Irene Padewski; his brother-in-law E. Randy Hirnyk and his wife Barbara of Florida. Also survived by six nieces and nephews.
Visitation Monday, February 15th, 2010, 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Mass will be held at Resurrection Parish, Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16th, 2010. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover.
