Obituary of Elsie H. D'Auria

Mrs. Elsie H. D'Auria, 91, of Dover passed away suddenly, Friday, February 5th, 2010 at home. Lifelong resident of Dover. Mrs. D'Auria was born in Dover. She was a member of the The King of King's Lutheran Church, Mountain Lakes, and sang in the church choir for over forty years. She worked as a Clerk - Finance and Accounting at Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, and retired in 1981 after 23 years. Member of N.A.R.F.E. and the Women's Auxiliary of the Dover Elk's Lodge #782 and Dover Socialites. She loved to crochet and spend time with her family. Survived by her son James T. of Dover and her daughter Joan D'Auria of Rockaway Township. Also survived by three grandchildren: Diane, Thomas, and Glen and six great-grandchildren: Craig, Christopher, Michael, Rachel, Garret , and Stephanie. Predeceased by her husband Thomas in 1992. Visitation Thursday, February 11th, 2010, 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 12th, 2010, 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to: The King of King's Lutheran Church, 145 US Highway #46, Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046.
