Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. William Scott, 84, of Succasunna passed away Sunday, January 31st, 2010 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown following a short illness. Resident of Succasunna since 1978, moved here from Orange. Mr. Scott was born in Dundee, Scotland. He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII. He worked as a Bus Operator at N.J. Transit in Orange, and retired in 1988 after 38 years. He enjoyed his trips to Atlantic City and his Sunday night card games, but he was mostly known as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Survived by Nancy A., his wife of 61 years; three daughters Carol Ann Ciardi and her husband Vincent of Succasunna, Pamela Marusiak and her husband Steven of Hopatcong, and Paula Schulz and her husband Don of Landing. Also survived by three grandchildren Tara Salerno and her husband Anthony, Tina Marusiak, and Steven William Marusiak; one great-granddaughter Sophia Grace Salerno, two brothers Jack Scott of Long Beach Island, NJ and George Scott of Toms River; two sisters Jean Russo and Mildred Moccio both of Los Angeles, CA. Visitation Thursday, February 4, 2010,2-4 and 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph. Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home (www.tuttlefh.com). Interment private. Donations may be made in his honor to: Save The Children's Haiti Earthquake Children in Emergency Fund, Income Processing Department, 54 Wilton Road, Westport, CT 06880.
