Obituary of Harriett Bonnetta Buono

Harriett Bonnetta (nee Schuster) Buono, 92, of Succasunna, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Merry Heart Health Care Center, Succasunna. She was born in Port Jervis, NY and was a former resident of Dover and Wharton. Growing up Harriet was known as “Bonnie.” She received her Associates Degree at County College of Morris, Randolph. She worked as a Sales Manager for W.T. Grant, Dover. She volunteered her time at Trinity Lutheran Faith Kitchen, Dover, Dover General Hospital, and Dover Christian Nursing home for many years. She is survived by her daughter Francine B. Moody and her husband Howard of Carlisle, PA; son Frank Jr. and his wife Nancy of Myrtle Beach, SC; five grandchildren Neil Joseph Moody and his wife Patricia, Lisa Sheaffer, Denise Buono and John, Dr. Darren Buono and his wife Brenda and Paul Buono, Esq. and his wife Maya;eight great grandchildren Matthew, Alicia, Rian, Nicholas, Bianca, Finn, Morgan and Lena, one great great grandson Hunter, also her sister Urruitia O’Rourke of Landing. She is predeceased by her husband Frank in 1986 who was an Explosive Operator at Picatinny Arsenal, Rockaway Twp. and an Electrician at Greystone Hospital, Morris Twp.
