Obituary of Norman Hall Iversen

Norman Hall Iversen, formerly from Rockaway NJ, passed away on February 22, 2017 in his home in Oak Grove Island, Georgia. Norman was a self made man, who owned a business in Rockaway, NJ. He served in Korea as a photographer, in the cavalry, as a soldier, as a young man, and as a proud American. He is survived by his four children, his son Erik and his wife Debbi, his son Rolf (deceased), his daughter Irene and his son Chris and his wife Susan. His grandchildren, Brynn Vollmer and her husband Damian, Chelsea and Courtney Iversen, Justin Abraham, Samantha and Ian Iversen and Devin and Jessica Kovach. His 2 great-grandchildren, Bryce and Carson Vollmer. He is survived by his first wife, and mother of his children, Audrey Holt. He is survived by his loving second wife, friend and life partner, Cindy Just Iversen. He lived as he liked, spending most of his time entertaining with friends, sharing his passion of fishing the ocean, and most recently hunting, with his countless friends - from his childhood to his most recent friends and "family" in Coastal Georgia, most significant being Si Altman and family. Friends and family are welcome to join the burial at 11:00 am at Marcella Union Church Cemetery, Timberbrook Road, Marcella, Rockaway, NJ 07866 Immediately following, a repast to be held at the Marcella Firehouse, 20 Upper Hibernia Rd, Rockaway, NJ 07866 on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
