Obituary of George C. Panetta

George C. Panetta, 82, of Palm City, FL, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Martin Hospital, South Stuart, FL. He was born and raised in Dover and graduated Dover High School in 1952. After high school, he started Modern Landscaping, he then began County Contracting and Panetta Homebuilders. He was a member of the Builders Association where he was an award-winning builder. He was an avid golfer and longtime member of the Rockaway River Country Club, where he served on various committees. He was a member of the Fox Club, Palm City, FL where he served on the Architecture Committee. He was also a member of the Lakeland Industrial Bowling League for many years. He is survived by Lois his wife of 62 years; four children Michael and his wife Bernadette of Allamuchy, Sharon Steele of Andover, Donald and his wife Tammy of Randolph and Lynn Ludwig and her husband Eric of Neptune; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his sister Joan Panick and her husband Ronald of Bayville and his brother Gary Panetta of Mine Hill. Visitation on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Rt. 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017, 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Parish, Dover. Interment to follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
