Obituary of James P. McCabe

James P. McCabe, 60, of Rockaway Township, passed away, following a long illness, on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Compassionate Care Hospice, St. Clare’s Hospital, Dover. He resided in Dover for most of his life and in 1982 he became a resident of Rockaway Township. James was a Driver for the Randolph Township Department of Public Works and retired in 2014 after 25 years. James was a member and past Chief of the Mt. Hope Fire Co. Number 2 of Rockaway Township from 1982 until 2003. He also served in the National Guard from 1976 to 1983. He is survived by Kathy his wife of 34 years; one son Sean J. and his wife Danielle of Mt. Arlington; two grandchildren Jeremy and Aria along with his three siblings Susan Struble of PA, Juli Abbood of TX and Mary Beth Lorber of PA. Visitation Sunday, February 26, 2017, 3:00-7:00PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (tuttlefh.com).
