A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22nd, at the funeral home.A Fireman's Service will be at 6:30PM Mr. Harold Perry Vanderhoof Jr., 83, of Randolph passed away Sunday, January 17th, 2010 at Merry Heart Nursing Home, Succasunna following a short illness. Resident of Randolph for most of his life. Mr. Vanderhoof Jr. was born in Dover. He was a member of the Millbrook United Methodist Church, Randolph. He served in the U.S. Navy in WW II. He worked as a Storeroom Supervisor at J.C.P. & L. Company, Dover, and retired in 1982 after 37 years. Lifetime member of the Randolph Township Fire Department Company #2 Millbrook, he joined in 1954 and also served as chief in 1968. He was also a member of the NJ State Fireman's Association and the NJ Exempt Firemans Association. Survived by his son Rickey and his wife Frances of Randolph and his daughter Linda Ferise and her husband George of Spartanburg, SC. Also survived by five grandchildren Todd & Adam Ferise, Magen Kennedy and Lindsey and Justin Vanderhoof; five great-grandchildren Paige, Logan, Riley, Gavin, and Cianna and his brother Donald Vanderhoof of Kerville, TX. Predeceased by his wife Lois in 2008. Visitation Friday, January 22nd, 2010, 3 - 7 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph. A Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, January 22nd, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to: The Millbrook United Methodist Church, 246 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, NJ 07869.
