Obituary of Anne M. Cassie

Anne M. (Balsamo) Cassie, 94, of Randolph, passed away at home, Tuesday, October 29th, 2013. Anne was born in Newark and has been a resident of Randolph for 40 years, formerly of Newark. She was a Parishioner of the Resurrection Parish, Randolph. She had worked as a Bookkeeper at Esquire Leather Company, Newark. Anne volunteered at Morris View Nursing Home, Morris Township for over 30 years. She was a member of the Randolph Senior Citizens, Randolph Women's Club and a Dominican co-member. Survived by her son John, Jr. and his wife Rosemarie of Randolph and daughter Cathy Luciani and her husband Michael of Randolph. Also survived by four grandchildren John, III, Cristina, Michael, and Gabi; her sister Katherine Lucas and her brother Anthony Balsamo and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband John and siblings Joseph, Marie, Pat, and Rocco. Visitation Friday, November 1st, 2013, 3:00 - 5:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com ). Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Parish, Randolph. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in her memory to the Sisters of St. Dominic of Caldwell, Attn: Development Office, 1 Ryerson Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006.
