Obituary of Marie Meola

Marie Meola, 73, of Hopatcong, passed away at home, on Monday, November 28, 2016. Marie was born in Brooklyn. She worked as a Realtor for RE/MAX First Choice Realtors, Succasunna. She loved to travel, and in her 20’s she took a three-month trip with a friend and traveled all over Europe. She loved to dance, during the 90’s she danced and preformed Hula Dances with Star Dance. Marie, an artist, would paint portraits of family members and for others to purchase. She was very involved in her church as she attended Bible studies, retreats, outreaches and a mission trip to Albania. She enjoyed nature, plants and tending to her rock garden. She is survived by Arthur, her husband of 40 years; two children James DiNonno and his wife Lea and Christy Webster and her husband Aric; four grandchildren Vyolet, Sophia, Hunter and Elias; her great-aunt Ann Puppo and great-uncle Sal Giabere. She is predeceased by her parents Anthony and Carmella Rao. Visitation Friday, December 2, 2016, 10:00AM-12:00PM with a service to follow at 12:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Samaritan’s Purse, www.samaritanspurse.org.
