Obituary of Adeline Barnes

Adeline Pinckney Barnes, beloved by so many was born in St. Matthews, SC, and was a resident of Randolph, since 1970, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016. Adeline was preceded in death by her husband Tyrone J. Barnes of 48 years, her parents, Maybelle and Henry Pinckney, her sister Annette Felder, and her brothers Henry, Raymond, and Harvey Pinckney. Adeline was the most loving mother and hero to her three children Taryn Peppo and her husband Charles of Green Township, Loryn Barnes Clark and her husband Jeff of Durham NC, and son Tyrone J. Barnes, II and his wife Dria of Hoboken. She was also an adoring grandmother of 5: Jeffrey Clark II, Blyss Peppo, Tyler Clark, Noah Clark, and Cole Barnes. She is also survived by her sister Shirley Mills of Charlotte, NC, and Marion Pinckney of St. Matthews, SC. Adeline is also survived by her beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Adeline was a parishioner of St. Matthew the Apostle Parish in Randolph. She was also a 1993 graduate of Rutgers University. Adeline was dedicated to her community and served as a member of the Board of Trustees at Morristown-Beard School, and many other organizations. She also volunteered her time at her children’s schools and sporting programs.
Visitation Thursday, November 3, 2016, 9:00-10:00AM, at St. Matthew the Apostle Parish, Randolph with a Funeral Mass following at 10:00AM (973)-584-1101. Interment is private. All arrangements by Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (tuttlefh.com).
