Mrs. Grace Koenig, 89, of Linden passed away Thursday, January 7th, 2010 at Cranford Extended Healthcare in Cranford, following a short illness. Resident of Linden since 1979, moved here from Elizabeth.
Mrs. Koenig was born in Naples, Italy.
She worked as a Secretary at Western Electric, Newark, and retired in the early 1980's after over 25 years.
Member of the Western Electric Pioneers, Newark.
Survived by three sisters; Rose DiGiralamo of Elizabeth, Josephine Mariano of Fort Pierce, FL, and Teresa Porada of Mickleton.
Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her husband Edward in 1979.
Visitation Sunday, January 10th, 2010, 2 - 6 p.m. at the Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph. (www.tuttlefh.com)
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew the Apostle R.C. Church, Randolph, (973-584-1101) at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 11th, 2010. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
