Obituary of Gloria Summerer

Gloria Summerer, 79, of the Poconos, PA, passed away, follow a long battle, on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at her home. She was born in Manhattan, NY, she was a resident of Roxbury for 50 years and recently has been residing in the Poconos, PA. Gloria worked as a Court Clerk for Roxbury Township from June 1977 until December 2003. In her younger years, she spent her summers in Bermuda, where she met the love of her life, Charlie. She enjoyed traveling and crocheting. Gloria is survived by Charles, her husband of 60 years; three children Steven Summerer of Morristown, Debra Cleffi and her husband Bill of East Stroudsburg, PA and Cheryl Franchi and her husband Brian of Hackettstown; daughter-in-law Karen Summerer of Hillsborough; eight grandchildren Chance, Ashley and her husband John, Kyle, Janel and her husband Kevin, Matthew, Jamie, Colette and her husband Steve and Shatner; two great-grandchildren Kaleb and Maxine; brother Maxwell Saunderson of Homestead, FL and her brother-in-law Dave Summerer. She is predeceased by her parents Percy and Olivia Saunderson; sister-in-law Martha Saunderson and mother and father-in-law Tillie and Harry Summerer. Visitation Tuesday, November 1, 2016, 4:00-8:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Service Wednesday, November 2, 2016, 10:30AM also at the funeral home. Interment is private.
