Obituary of Edward Peter Sullivan

Edward Peter Sullivan, Sr., 86, of Parsippany, passed away suddenly, Monday, October 24th 2016, at Troy Hills Nursing Home, Edward was born and raised in Boonton and lived most of his life in Parsippany. He served in the U.S. Army in Japan during the Korean War. He was fondly remembered by his Army nickname "Soupbone". He worked as a Chemical Operator at BASF, East Hanover for 20 years. He was a life member and Past Senior Vice Commander in charge of membership of the American Legion Parsippanong Post #249 in Lake Hiawatha. He is survived by Kieko, his wife of 64 years; his son Ed Jr., his daughter Elizabeth and her husband Robert; two granddaughters Abigail and Margaret; two sisters Anne DeBlanco and Gertrude Henry. Visitation Saturday, October 29th, 2016, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph with a Funeral Service following at 2:30 PM. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Legion, Donation Processing, P.O. Box 361623, Indianapolis, IN 46236-1626.
