Obituary of Stephen Frank Dancsecs

Stephen Frank Dancsecs, 83, of Randolph, passed away after a short illness on Friday,October 7, 2016 at St, Clares Hospital in Dover. He was born and raised in Woodbridge and was a resident of Randolph for the last 50 years. Stephen graduated with a degree in engineering from The Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken. He served in the U.S. Army in Alaska during the Korean War. Stephen was a Mechanical Engineer at Mahaffey and Harder in Fairfield for 40 years, retiring in 1998. He was a parishioner and usher at St. Therese R.C. Church in Succasunna and also at Resurrection Parish and St. Matthew the Apostle Parish, both of Randolph. He was an avid fisherman, but, mostly he loved spending time with his family. Especially his children and grandchildren. Stephen is survived by Trudy, his wife of 52 years; his daughter Katherine McGovern and her husband Thomas of Norwood, PA; his son Tom and his wife Donna of Marlton; his 5 grandchildren, Mary-Joy, Christina,Joey,Derek and Jenna. Visitation Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 3:00 to 5:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph (www.Tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 10:00AM at St. Matthew the Apostle Parish in Randolph. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to: St. Matthew the Apostle Parish, 335 Dover Chester Road, Randolph,NJ 07869
