Obituary of Mazie P. Scott

Mazie P. Scott, 94, of Dover, passed away Wednesday, September 28th, 2016, at Saint Clare's Hospital, Denville, following a short illness. Mazie was born in Creedmore, NC and has been a resident of Dover since 1975. She formerly resided in Morristown. She worked as an Engineer at Alcatel Lucent, Whippany, and retired in 1992 after 20 years. She was an active member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church, Boonton Township since 1959 and a member of The Lupis Foundation in Springfield. She is survived by four sons James M. of Dover, William M. of Dover, Larry M. of Hillsborough and Sheldon B. of Dover; two grandchildren Kevin Spencer of Morristown and Erin Scott of Parsippany and seven great-grandchildren Visitation Wednesday, October 5th, 2016, 10:00 AM - 12 Noon at the Mount Zion Baptist Church, 4 Church Road, Boonton Township, NJ 07005. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 Noon at the church. Entombment will be at Locust Hill Mausoleum, Dover.
