Aphrodite “Aphro” Milonas, 87 of Dover, passed away after a long illness, on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at the Regency Grande Nursing Home, and has been reunited with her husband Jimmy. She will be missed dearly by all the lives she touched. With a heart of gold, she was never a stranger to anyone, always making friends and sharing her generosity and love to all. She loved her family dearly, had a great sense of humor, was known for her great cooking and baking, and her famous apple pie. Spending many years as a homemaker and working side by side with her husband at 3 Brothers Restaurant in Dover, she was adored by many.
She was born and raised in Newark and has been a resident of Dover for 63 years.
Aphro is survived by her four children Louie of Lavallette, Paula Hempel of Dallas, TX, Connie “Tina” Phillips and her husband Robert of South Plainfield, Andy and his wife Heather of Flanders; eight grandchildren Christopher, Craig, Caroline, Jimmy, Stephanie, Nicole, Dante and Nikos; two great-grandchildren Aria and Harrison also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband James in 2015 and her six brothers and sisters of which she was the youngest.
Visitation Thursday, September 22, 2016, 3:00-5:00PM & 7:00-9:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Service Friday, September 23, 2016, 10:00AM at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, Randolph. Entombment to follow at Locust Hill Mausoleum, Dover.
