Obituary of James Joseph Campbell

James Joseph Campbell, 82, of Randolph, passed away at home, Tuesday, September 13th, 2016 following a short illness. James was born and raised in Newark and has been a resident of Randolph since 1968. He served in the U.S. Air Force, in Japan during the Korean War. He worked as a Police Lieutenant for the Newark Police Department , and retired in 1989 after 25 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Newark Lodge #12. He loved gardening and traveling. He is survived by Dorothy, his wife of 58 years; two sons Dr. James Campbell of Conowingo, MD and Kevin Campbell and his wife Lindsay of Stanhope and his daughter Eileen Campbell of Fair Oaks Ranch, TX. He is also survived by four grandchildren Scarlett, Shannon, Bobby and Paul and three sisters Roberta Campbell, Libby Battista and Kathy Campbell and several nephews.
