Sarita “Sara” Galloza, 79, of Dover, passed away following a short illness on August 25th, 2016, at Lakeview Rehabilitation and Care Center, Wayne.
Sara was born and raised in Aguada, Puerto Rico and moved to Dover in 1957.
She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church and Sacred Heart Parish, Dover, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Virgin of Providence.
Sara is survived by Julio, her husband of 58 years; five children Glenda Nieves and her husband Jorge of Wharton, Luz Galan and her husband Nahun of Dover, Daisy Galloza of Dover, Susie Traverso and her husband Andre of Dover and Lisette Galloza of Rockaway; thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters. She is predeceased by her son Julio C. Galloza in 1994, her granddaughter Laura L. Cortez in 2008 and her two sisters Margarita Correa and Elisa Lorenzo.
Visitation Sunday, August 28th, 2016, 2:00-6:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass Monday, August 29th, 2016, 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Parish, Dover. Entombment to follow at Locust Hill Mausoleum, Dover.
