Obituary of Marcell James Montalbano

Marcell James Montalbano, Jr., 72, of West Milford, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown.
Marcell was born in Teaneck and has resided in West Milford for 44 years, formerly of Pallisades park.
He served in the US Army as Sergeant in Company B 125th Signal Battalion of the 25th Infantry Division.
Marcell worked as a Car Inspector for NJ Transit, Spring Valley, and retired in 2011 after 12 years. Prior to working for NJ Transit he was with the NY Susquehanna & Western Railroad for 20 years. He was an active member of the Assembly of God Church in Warwick, NY for 25 years. Marcell enjoyed boating and shooting at the Cherry Ridge Range. But mostly he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by Patricia, his wife of 50 years; two sons Marc and his wife Amy of Fort Mills, SC and Michael and his wife Lisa of Pequannock; sister Elaine Montalbano; niece Laura Montalbano both of Cherry Valley, NY
Visitation Wednesday, July 20, 2016, 3:00-5:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM, with a service at 8:30PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Graveside Service Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the Northern New Jersey Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Sparta.
