Sambasiva Rao Kasinadhuni passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016 in New Jersey. Rao is survived by his wife Radha, son Sarat, and daughter Madhavi. Sambasiva Rao was a pharmacist by profession and served in the US Army as a pharmacist between 1976 and 1980. In addition to serving the community as a pharmacist, Rao also co-founded Testpak, a small company in the pharmaceutical field. Sambasiva Rao was a passionate philanthropist. He and his wife Radha, founded a not-for-profit US organization named Kasinadhuni Durgamba Butchaiah (KDB) Inc. to improve the health, education, and community integration of differently-abled children in the region surrounding his hometown Elakurru in South India. In addition to his significant efforts improving the lives of differently-abled children in India, Sambasiva Rao actively supported other philanthropic organizations such as the Vegesna Foundation and HELP Foundation and was involved with Dover Rotary Club. His dedication to ensuring all people are provided an equal opportunity for comfort and success will be remembered by his family, friends, colleagues and the community. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home on Saturday, July 9, 2016, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A brief memorial service will take place from 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM.
