Rosario V. Girratano, 88, of Randolph, passed away Saturday, June 25th, 2016, following a long illness, at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover. He was born in Newark and raised in Union, he formerly resided in Brick for 20 years and Parsippany for 33 years, and has been in Randolph since 2011.
Rosario served in the US Army during the Korean War. He owned Guy-Ross Chevrolet, Hackensack and retired in 1998 after 60 years in the industry. He loved fishing but he mainly loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by Lucille (nee Campanelli), his wife of 66 years; two daughters Marion Bravo and her husband Louis of Roxbury and Angela McNiece and her husband Jeff of Randolph; his son Anthony and his fiancé Cindy of Wayne; eight grandchildren Jennifer, Louis, Stephanie, Joseph, David, Anthony, Ricky and Jason. He is also survived by his beloved niece Terry Sberna and eight great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday,July 1, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Therese R.C. Church, Succasunna. Arrangements by Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
