Obituary of William J. Norwick

William J. Norwick, 76, of Denville, passed away on Friday, June 24th, 2016. He was born in New York City, NY and was a resident of North Bergen before residing in Denville. William worked as an Electrician for Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals, Summit, for 24 years before retiring in 2002. He loved gardening, reading, chess, classic cars and cooking for other people. He also enjoyed teaching his parrot, Miss Priss, how to talk. William was a member of the IBEW. William is survived by Elizabeth “Betty” his wife of 24 years; three children James and his wife Laurissa of Montville, Martin of Denville and Ann Marie of Hoboken. He is predeceased by his first wife Mildred in 1983 and his brother Michael in 2005. Visitation will be Monday, June 27th, 2016 from 5:00-9:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, June 28th, 2016, at 10:00AM At St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Denville. Interment to follow at Denville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to either St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter, 194 NJ-10, East Hanover, NJ 07936.
