Tannie Choe, Beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother
Tannie Choe, 72, of Randolph, passed away peacefully at home with her family on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, following a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. Tannie was born on New Year’s Eve in 1940, came from Korea to the United States in 1958 to attend college and graduate school, and has been a resident of Randolph for 40 years.
Tannie was the owner of Gourmet World, a cookware store in Rockaway and Randolph, for 20 years. She loved spending time with family, traveling, cooking gourmet food, playing golf, and enjoying music, dance and the arts. Tannie shared her love of food by teaching cooking classes and influencing the lives of friends and family with her gourmet creations.
She is survived by Dr. Eui Won Choe, her devoted husband of 48 years; her son David; her daughter Jennifer and her husband Ted; and two beloved granddaughters Ashley and Stephanie.
Visitation Friday, October 4, 2013, 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph, (www.tuttlefh.com).
Funeral Service at The Chapel of The Presbyterian Church in Morristown, 57 East Park Place, Morristown, NJ, (973) 538-1776 on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 10AM.
Interment will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester.
