Obituary of Ruth B. Shaw

Ruth B. Shaw, 92, of Dover, passed away at home June 3rd, 2016 surrounded by her three children. Born to Fred and Louise Kielblock on March 3rd, 1924 on their farm with no electricity in Meyersville. She graduated from Morristown High School Class of 1941. She completed Registered Nurse Training at Overlook Hospital, Summit. In 1946 she married Howard Shaw of Dover, where they shared a life of 64 years.
For over 60 years she applied her nursing skills to the care of her special needs son Leslie. She sang in the church choir, she knitted, sewed, quilted and was a friend and inspiration to many.
Besides her husband she is pre-deceased by her brothers Edward, Carl and Paul Kielblock. She is survived by her sons Leslie and Ernest and her daughter Beth and her foster daughter Lucretia Fritts.
There will be a memorial service at First memorial Presbyterian Church, Dover on Monday, June 27th, 2016, 11:00AM.
