Obituary of Nelson Ferry

Nelson Ferry, Jr. (Pal), 83,passed away May 27, 2016 at Morristown Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Dover, but resided in Wharton the past 42 years.
Survivors include: wife Patricia of 42 years; daughter Karen Meyer and husband Stephen; son Joseph Ferry and wife Katie; four grandchildren Nicholas, Charlotte, Gwyneth and Donovan; sister Dorothy Hinkley and husband Earl; sister Miriam Westfall, and sister-in-law Barbara Ferry. Pre-deceased by his brother Richard Ferry.
Employed as Chief Draftsman for Ameray Corp, and retired from Dover General Hospital security.
He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, US army, for outstanding performance of duty he gave Company C and the 98th Military Police Battalion in maintaining peace in Okinawa during the Korean War.
Memorial Visitation Saturday, June 4th, 2016, 10:00 - 11:30 AM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com ). Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 AM, also at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to St Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
