Funeral Services will be held at The First United Methodist Church, 41 E. Blackwell Street, Dover, at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 19th, 2009 Elizabeth C. (neePaulus) Cheney Mrs. Elizabeth C. (neePaulus) Cheney, 90, of Randolph passed away suddenly, Wednesday, December 16th, 2009 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown. Resident of Randolph since 1956, moved here from Kenvil. Mrs. Cheney was born in Kenvil. She was a lifetime member of The First United Methodist Church, Dover. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at Picatinny Arsenal, Rockaway Township, and retired in 1981 after 30 years. Member of the Order of the Eastern Star Pearl Chapter #79 of Dover, the United Methodist Women and the Randolph Senior Citizens. She was very active at The First United Methodist Church serving as a Trustee, Sunday School Teacher and various other positions. She was also a member of N.A.R.F.E. . She enjoyed quilting, and was a loving homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Survived by Bruce J. her husband of 66 years, two sons Barry J. and Brian J. and three grandchildren Bradley, Brendan and Kristin. Predeceased by her son Bruce J. Cheney Jr. in 1947. Funeral Services will be held at The First United Methodist Church, 41 E. Blackwell Street, Dover, at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 19th, 2009. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover. Visitation Friday, December 18th, 2009, 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph.
