Obituary of Brenda Peters

Brenda Peters, 68, of Rockaway, passed away on March 30th, 2016. She was born to the late Walter J. Kopec and Genevieve B. (Niemynski) Kopec on March 26th, 1948 in Passaic. Brenda was a graduate of Montclair State and William Patterson. She had a degree in Physical Education and was a teacher at Marywood School System. After raising two children she returned to the work force and worked at Monroe Systems for Business. After leaving Monroe she continued her career path at Scott Printing. She then worked the remainder of her professional time at The Law Offices of Fein, Such, Kahn, and Shepard before retiring in March 2014. Brenda enjoyed to travel especially to one of her favorite places Hershey, PA. She could also be found going to the casino occasionally to play the penny slots. Although she would stay busy you could find her not often missing Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune on week nights. Brenda is survived by her older brother Walter Ronald Kopec, his wife Adele, and their children Cheryl Skinner (and family), and Janice Kopec (and family). She is also survived by her children Keith J. Peters and Alison M. Peters, her daughter-n-law Michelle Wujciak Peters and her daughter's significant other Allan V. Favino Jr. She is remembered by her niece Stacey Drzal Luccarelli with husband Christopher Luccarelli and their children Rachel and Daniel, and her nephew Brian Reaver and his wife Donna Corsaro Reaver and their daughter Noelle. She leaves behind a number of very close friends. There will be a wake at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (Tuttlefh.com) on Friday, April 8th, 2016 from 4:00PM-8:00PM. Funeral Mass at Resurrection Parish, Randolph, (973-895-4224) on Saturday, April 9th, at 9:00AM. Private burial at St. Michael's Cemetery, Hackensack. We ask to respect Brenda’s wishes and in lieu of flowers please send donations to St. Jude's Children’s Research Hospital Memorial and Honor Gifts P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
