Obituary of Tejinder Lamba

Tejinder Lamba, popularly known as “Bittoo”, passed away peacefully at the age of 65 in her home under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice, September 19, 2013. She was born in India in 1947 and has been a longtime resident of Denville.
She worked as a teacher in Ethiopia before coming to the USA in 1978. Bittoo ran a day care for nearly ten years in Denville. She had to give up this passion due to Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Bittoo is survived by her husband, Devinder Lamba of 42 years; two daughters Konjit Muchhala of Edison and Sofia Verma of North Brunswick; brother Charanjit Singh of the U.K., two sisters Kamal Khanna of India and Gurinder Parwana of Canada and two grandchildren Armaan and Aidan.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 20, 2013 at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Services will be today, Saturday, September 21, 2013, 9:30 a.m. at Somerset Hills Crematory, Mt. Airy Road, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 (908-766-0522).
