Obituary of Joan Patterson Singer

Joan Patterson Singer, 84, of Wharton, passed away at the House of the Good Shepherd, Hackettstown on Wednesday, March 30th, 2016, following a long illness. She was born in Orange, and formerly resided in Madison. She worked as a secretary at Thomas A. Edison, West Orange. Joan was a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her three children Donna Eddins and her husband F. David of Manasquan, Jandy Stamm and her husband Eric of O'Fallon, MO and Rahn and his wife Laura of Long Valley; nine grandchildren Nicolle Farina, Rebecca Farina, Summer Eddins, Brielle and Hayley Stamm, Rachel, Sarah, Adam, and Joshua Singer. Also survived by her siblings Ralph Frederick Patterson, Jr., Peter Patterson, Pamela Patterson Frezza, Betty Fagan and Priscilla Buccino. Predeceased by her husband Donald in 2014, and her siblings William Joseph Patterson, Richard Scott Patterson, Albert Ashworth and Bruce Ashworth. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 6th, 2016, 3:00-5:00PM & 7:00-9:00PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 7th, 2016, 10:00AM also at the funeral home.
