Obituary of Laurel L. Buchanan

Laurel L. Buchanan, 76, of Jefferson, passed away, at her home, Sunday, March 13th, 2016. Laurel was born in Newton and has been a longtime resident of Jefferson. She worked as a System Safety Secretary for Picatinny Arsenal, Rockaway and retired after 17 years. Laurel was very active at the Rockaway Assembly of God Church, and enjoyed the time she spent with the Ladies’ Group there. She loved baking cooking and helping people. She is survived by her four children Dan Buchanan, Jenny Arancio, Joni Schimmer and Harold Buchanan; six grandchildren Rachel and Sarah Buchanan, Justin and Ryan Michalski and Megan and Matthew Schimmer; also her brother. Visitation Tuesday, March 15th, 2016, 6:00-8:15 PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com), with a Memorial at 8:15 PM. Funeral Service Wednesday, March 16th, 2016, 10:00 AM, also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Locust Hill Cemetery.
