Obituary of George Charles Cramer

George “Jake” Cramer, 80, of Flanders, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, February 21, 2016.
Born in Morristown on January 16, 1936, George was the beloved son of the late George Cramer and Mary Kozan Cramer. He graduated from Morristown High School and went on to own and operate Wolfe’s Television in Morris Plains for 30 years. After closing the business, he spent 15 years as an Electronics Engineer at the County College of Morris in the media department.
George was an avid golfer, bowler, and enjoyed spending time celebrating life with family and friends.
George is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Evelyn Cramer, his children, Sheryl Santangelo and her husband, Ernie, of Cedar Knolls; Lance Cramer of Scotrun, PA; Linda D’Addario and her husband, Charles, of Morris Township; Patricia Purtell of Florham Park; Sandra Cittadino and her husband, Edward, of Blairstown; George Cramer and his wife, Sherry, of Green Township; and Michael Cramer of Flanders. He is survived by his brothers Ronald of West Virginia, and Robert of Galloway. George was a loving Grandfather to 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son, Charles.
Visitation will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (Tuttlefh.com) on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 3:00PM - 5:00PM and 7:00PM - 9:00PM. A Funeral Mass celebrating George’s life will be held at Notre Dame of Mount Carmel in Cedar Knolls (973-538-1358) on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 9:30AM. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
